Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu Circuit Trek is surely a unique and very beautiful trek in Nepal. Mount Manaslu is the eighth highest peak(8160m) in the world. Mount Manaslu lies in Gorkha District. Manaslu Circuit Trek provides you the breathtaking view of mountains like:Mount Ganesh, Mount Sringi, Mount Lamjung, Mount Himlung and many other mountain ranges.

The entire trail lies under the conservation area. While trekking in Manaslu Circuit trail you can see Rhododendron forest, 110 species of bird,1800 species of plant and 36 species of animals like: musk deer,snow leopard, himalayan thar and many other natural wild beauties and sceneries. People in these regions are very humble and provide you as much as help and cooperation.

Trek seasons

The pre and post monsoon season during the months of March to May and September to October is the most favourable time because of the good weather and temperature,which is also considered as the best trekking time. During the mid-winter season in the month of late December to February, Larkya La Pass is closed because of heavy snow which makes it impossible to go through the pass. The months of June,July and August are the monsoon season when you can experience greenery everywhere and see a massive number of big and small waterfalls throughout the trail and could also be difficult due to sudden rain.

Fees and Permit

For Manaslu Circuit, a single person is not allowed to trek. You must be in a group of at least 2 to 3 people. The permit cost US$ 70 to a single person for a week and after 7 days, per person per day cost US $ 10. The entry permit for Manaslu Circuit Trek can be issued at Nepal Tourism Board, Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
