There are three view camps on the Mardi Himal trek. The upper-view camp of Mardi Himal is at 4300m altitude. You can see all the Annapurna ranges wearing snow caps from high camp. You can also reach the Mardi Himal base camp following the same route.
Mardi Himal looks small and sits along Mt.Machhapuchhre. You can see the breathtaking view of Sunset and sunrise during the trek. Mardi Himal trek is the best short trek in Annapurna Region. You have to trek through the beautiful Rhododendron forests and jungles viewing mountains. The trail is a little bit windy. You can see different types of flora here. Best Season for Mardi Himal Trek
The best time for Mardi Himal Trek is mid-September to early December. You can also trek from February to April, the weather will be favorable. The pre-monsoon period from May to June is hot but you can experience the beauty of different wildflowers. Due to the snow, December and January are winters, which might make your trail difficult. June to Mid September is monsoon which is not a good time to trek to Mardi Himal.
