Rolwaling Valley Trek

During the Rolwaling valley trek, you can see two magnificent lakes. Tsho Rolpa is the biggest glacier lake in Nepal. It is situated in Dolakha district in Rolwaling Valley. It is one of the underrated treks in Nepal. The trail is rich in natural beauty and various cultural monasteries. It is located at an elevation of 4580 meters. It falls under the Gaurishankar Conservation Area. This trek can be completed at any time of the year. The most favorable time is post-monsoon (October to December). Other than that, during monsoon (June to September) is also a good time but due to rain, it can be quite challenging. During monsoon and post-monsoon, you can experience an enormous number of beautiful and unique waterfalls throughout the trek. You can also experience the different beauty of the trail during winter (January to February). During winter also it could be quite difficult because of snow. You can see the mountain peaks like the holy mountain Gaurishankar(7134m.) and its Shangri la, Mt. Melungtse (7181m.), and many more mountains from Nepal and China. The main highlight of the trek is the Tsho-Rolpa trek and the Dudh Pokhari situated at 4700 meters will win your heart for sure. The views were magnificent and the weather was colder and unpredictable.
